Play in a Day
PLAY IN A DAY
Scene Change Theatre company has been working with schools and Cathedrals around the country for the last 5 years using an immersive educational format that we have devised called ‘A play in a day’. The idea is that the pupils become part of Scene Change Theatre for the day, rehearsing with the actors and then performing a play to an audience at the end of the day. The day itself includes acting skills, focus exercises, discussion forums, and interactive workshops, culminating in a performance with movement, costume and song.
AIMS OF THE DAY

(2) To provide an immersive and experiential experience of the subject Matter connected to the national curriculum that aid’s learning.
